My sixth grade science teacher Mr. Swenson once told us: Each one of us should plant at least one tree during our lives to make up for the harm we have done to the environment.
Though that might be reasonable, here is my proposal: The planting of trees harms us.
Why you may ask… I have one word for you: allergies.
As I sit here with my watery eyes and incredibly runny nose, I will explain to you why that is. The doctor explained it all to me today why I have to suffer every year from the most intense allergies. It is because the people who build our communities want to plant trees not only for a nicer-looking town but also to make our surroundings feel more “green” and environmentally friendly. However, the planters never plant the female trees since they are very likely to produce various sorts of fruits that will create a hassel for the city cleaners. Instead, they plant male trees. Of course, the male trees are the ones that release the very pollen that causes my suffering.
That is why I have one request for you all: if and when (I suggest that you do because it does sort of make up for part of what we do to the environment) you plant that tree(s) during your lifetime, plant a female one.
Haha, I agree with this. Plus, trees with fruits are more productive anyway
Take some allergy medication D:
